Hyderabad, December 5: There is couple of interesting question on duties and responsibilities of Village Revenue Officer and Village Revenue Assistants – VRO and VRAs. Probably, after decades of gap, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued notification for this posts and many people don’t know about this post importance at all. These two posts are key in village level in revenue administration. Though, Government of AP not yet released the official notification, response for VRO and VRA posts is tremendous.
It may be because of the education qualification, that is attracting large number of candidates towards VRO and VRA posts.
A VRO or VRA will assist the Mandal Revenue Inspector, Mandal Revenue Officer in collecting land cess, maintaing land records and other revenue related issues like validating the residents income data, cast records, social status records etc.
If one has to get any certificate from Mandal Revenue Office, first you have to approach the VRO or VRA to complete the primary formalities like verification of your address, other information provided by the applicant in his requisition letter.
VRO or VRAs endorsement will help the RI or MRO to proceed further on the applicaton.
